The New York State Office of General Services issued the following news release:
New York State Office of General Services Commissioner Daniel D. Hogan today announced the awarding of bids for two contracts representing more than $910,000 in new construction, providing work in two counties of New York.
The contracts are expected to be awarded to the apparent low bidders following the normal process of review and approval by the State Comptroller's Office. Both of the low bidders are New York State firms.
The projects and apparent low bidders are described in the following listing by county:
ALBANY COUNTY
A construction contract to replace windows at the Dept. of Correctional Services Training Academy in Albany, NY was bid by three firms. Of those three, Window Specialists, Inc. of Lancaster, NY was the apparent low bidder with a bid of $745,300.
ONEIDA COUNTY
An electrical contract to replace transformers for various buildings at the Oneida Correctional Facility in Rome, NY was bid by three firms. Of those three, Mohawk Valley Utility Construction Corp. of Albany, NY was the apparent low bidder with a bid of $167,300.
