Miraculously only 40 pages longer than Volume 21, Volume 22 of the continuing 'Amino acids and peptides' SPR series reviews the 1989 literature. Considering the amount of work which seems (to met at least) to have been published since then, the authors collected here must already be well into writing their review of the 1990 literature in order to meet their deadlines.
Following the format adopted a few volumes ago, six chapters discuss amino acids, peptide synthesis, peptide analogues/peptide structural studies, modified/cyclic peptides, [beta]-lactams and metal complexes of amino acids/peptides.
