FED:Rates to hold steady, growth not so clear

CANBERRA, Feb 28 AAP - As economists tinker with their varying economic growth forecasts
for Wednesday's December quarter national accounts, one thing seems more certain.
Homeowners will not be slugged with another interest rate rise when the Reserve Bank
holds its monthly board meeting on Tuesday.
Economists are unanimous in expecting the cash rate to remain at 4.75 per cent for
a third straight central bank meeting, and more than likely for a fourth when it meets
again in April.
